NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise storage for IBM z/OS environments. You will oversee disk, tape, backup, DR, and capacity planning while implementing automation and resilience across complex enterprise systems.

The role requires deep expertise in IBM mainframe storage technologies and collaboration with infrastructure, operations, and application support teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Formación

• 8–15+ years of experience in mainframe infrastructure and z/OS storage administration.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting IBM z/OS storage environments in large-scale enterprise organizations.
• Experience with IBM DS8000 series storage, virtual tape systems, disaster recovery solutions, and storage management products.
• Proven experience managing storage capacity, backup and recovery, replication technologies, and enterprise storage operations.
• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated, mission-critical environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of mainframe disk storage management, provisioning, and capacity planning.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure high availability, resilience, and optimal performance of enterprise storage infrastructure.
• Proactively monitor storage utilization, performance, and health across all environments.
• Maintain compliance with security, governance, audit, and operational standards.
• Manage storage growth and long-term capacity planning activities.
• Participate in software installations, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations.
• Support incident resolution and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution activities.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support for maintenance windows and incidents.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and standardization.
• Collaborate with global infrastructure teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
