The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Azure and Databricks, a strong understanding of Data Lake and Data Mesh architectures, and excellent communication skills in English. Are you passionate about cloud technologies and data management? Ready to lead and empower a multicultural team within a cutting-edge big data platform?

What you’ll do:

Design and implement cloud data solutions on

Azure

with a focus on

Databricks ,

Data Lake ,

Data Mesh architecture , and

Data Management

(including Identity & Access Management, permissions, network storage accounts). Manage and resolve tickets related to big data infrastructure issues (e.g., access and firewall, Databricks, DataFactory, KeyVault). Ensure compliance with cloud security and data governance policies while optimizing existing cloud deployments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Germany, Spain, and India to deliver best practices in data security, architecture frameworks, and automation. Support and contribute to the development of internal tools, including ticketing system escalations and automation pipelines.

What you bring:

Proven expertise in

Azure Cloud Services , with

Databricks knowledge being absolutely essential .



Strong understanding of

Data Lake

and

Data Mesh concepts

and architectures. Programming and scripting skills, preferably in

Python ; experience with

Pulumi

is a plus. Experience working in agile environments (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe). Excellent communication skills, empathy, proactivity, and a continuous learning mindset. High proficiency in English (C1 or above) to collaborate effectively in a multicultural setting.
