Job summary

Field Service Engineer for DR and CR equipment. This position performs technical service and support on Agfa and third-party products and systems for customers. The employee will be based from home and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or related field
  • X-Ray operator license could be a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install and modify Agfa and third-party products (DR and CR)
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace products on-site and remotely
  • Assist R&D and HQ in problem-solving and risk analysis
  • Train customers
  • Escalate issues to 2nd and 3rd tier support when necessary
  • Document service incidents
  • Manage and perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to procedures
  • Assist internal and external customers on technical questions and issues
  • Identify opportunities for up-selling services and products and pass to sales
  • Manage return of equipment and parts in compliance with company procedures
