The TransPerfect TechOps team has been vital to the company's success for 10 years, delivering technology and services that simplify the lives of clients and colleagues. Our work includes workflow improvements, core services for the GlobalLink platform, and scalable client interfaces.

Role Overview:

You will lead the strategic roadmap for our AI-driven speech-to-speech interpretation and captioning tool. Working with engineers, researchers, QA analysts, and designers across global offices, you'll focus on customer discovery, market analysis, and strategic planning to deliver innovative communication products.

This role is part of a multidisciplinary technology department located in Barcelona, New York, Manchester, Bucharest, and India.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the AI speech translation and interpretation tools, aligning with user needs and business goals.
• Lead market analysis, user research, and stakeholder feedback to understand demands and pain points.
• Translate product requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria focused on speech technologies.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from planning to release, ensuring strategic alignment.
• Identify opportunities to optimize speech processing development processes to accelerate innovation.
• Maintain continuous communication to clarify goals, address questions, and remove roadblocks.
• Prioritize features based on business objectives, client needs, stakeholder input, and market potential.
• Communicate roadmap updates and reasoning to stakeholders, managing expectations.
• Use analytics and performance metrics to evaluate product success and guide future development.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in software development as a Product Manager or similar, with a focus on speech processing or language tech (NLP, STT, TTS).
• Experience managing product lifecycle and executing strategic initiatives with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Trello.
• Exceptional strategic communication skills, including articulating vision and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with telephony integrations (e.g., SIP) and real-time audio streaming protocols (e.g., WebRTC, SRT) is a plus.
• Experience with live captioning technologies is a plus.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Degree in design, business, computer science, or related fields.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, XML, JavaScript).
• Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Matomo, Localytics).
• Experience working in distributed teams and in the localization industry.
