Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid region is offering a curricular practicum internship for final-year engineering students. You will work on a project evaluating embedded processors for avionics use cases, with 25 hours per week across mornings, under a tutor for continuous monitoring.

The program runs February to July 2027, culminating in the Final Year Project (TFG) and a hands-on platform bring-up, testing and benchmarking in a safety-critical context.

Formación

• Currently studying for a degree in one of the listed engineering fields.
• English level B2 minimum; Spanish level B1.
• Strong knowledge of C programming and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux and embedded development is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare final year training project (TFG) focusing on avionics embedded processors.
• Develop test and benchmarking tools for avionics workloads.
• Bring up a commercial embedded development board and set up software environment.
• Evaluate platform performance, predictability and resource usage under different conditions.
• Document results, conclusions and possible future work.
