Descripción del empleo

Are you passionate about streetwear and know how to design garments that stand out? Do you live for details — from the cut and silhouette to the graphic, fabric, or placement print? PAPI MTL is a Montreal-based streetwear brand rooted in elevated everyday pieces. We're looking for a freelance fashion designer to help bring our next collections to life — from garment silhouettes to graphic placements and overall visual direction.

Your Role

You’ll be working directly with our founder and will be involved in the full creative process, from idea to final design delivery. Your work will directly shape our next drops and be worn by a growing global audience.

What You Will Do
  1. Design unisex garments — hoodies, jackets, knitwear, denim, pants, caps, etc.
  2. Create graphic content for garments — screen prints, embroidery, patches, wash treatments, labels, trims.
  3. Develop moodboards, visual concepts, and design stories aligned with the brand direction.
  4. Propose fabrics, washes, and finishes that elevate the product.
  5. Deliver clean and editable files (AI, PSD, etc.) ready for sampling and production.
  6. Occasionally support with packaging/label design and digital campaign visuals.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Experience in streetwear design.
  • Confident designing both garments and garment artworks.
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (3D tools are a bonus).
  • Strong trend awareness.
  • Ability to take rough references or mood and build a full visual around it.
  • Great communicator — can work independently but still respond quickly.
  • Artists from around the world are welcome. We are aligned with European fashion a lot.

Expected commitment: around 10-15 hours a week.

Why Work With Us
  • Full creative collaboration — your vision and style matter.
  • Flexible work setup — we respect your time and creativity.
  • 100% work from home.
  • Your designs will go from idea to production and be worn globally.
  • Real opportunity for long-term creative partnership across drops.
  • Generous clothing allowance and employee discount.
  • Being part of a growing clothing brand.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.
