A multinational company is seeking a Workday HCM Functional Analyst to join its central HR Technology function.

As part of a growing HR digitalisation programme, you’ll support both the post-implementation Workday environment and the evolution of global HR processes across multiple countries.

This role will support new module implementations, ongoing system enhancements, and operational excellence initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

You’ll partner with regional HR teams, technical stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the platform evolves in line with business needs, with a strong focus on process improvement, optimisation, and user enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Talent, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, and Learning
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Workday projects, supporting configuration, validation, testing, and go-live activities
  • Convert business requirements into scalable Workday solutions, championing system enhancements and process automation
  • Provide functional support to global users resolving issues, supporting data loads, reporting requests, and integration handoffs
  • Contribute to the design of global HR process maps, SOPs, and user documentation
  • Own user access management and role permissions within the platform
  • Develop testing plans, scripts, and perform validation on new configurations and release updates
  • Support global rollouts of new functionality and modules in coordination with local HR and COE teams
  • Actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of a global HR knowledge base, user guides, and change communications

Your Profile

  • 4–6+ years’ experience working with Workday HCM or a comparable HCM platform (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Cloud HCM)
  • Hands-on experience across multiple Workday modules, ideally including Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Comp, and Core HCM
  • Strong understanding of business process configuration, security roles, and report building
  • Experience supporting HR operations or digital transformation projects in a global or multi-site business
  • Comfortable gathering functional requirements, documenting use cases, and translating them into system logic
  • Prior exposure to hospitality, travel, or service industries is a plus, but not essential
  • Confident working in both Spanish and English; other European languages (e.g. Portuguese, French) are a bonus

Familiarity with Smartsheet or project tracking tools is a bonus
