Job summary

DDN in Madrid is seeking an ERP Engineer to join the Finance Systems team, focusing on implementing and maintaining Workday Financials and connected finance apps. You will translate business requirements into scalable, supportable solutions and participate across the full solution lifecycle.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams, plus documenting processes, testing, and deployment, with preference for Workday experience and familiarity with

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with ERP/Finance systems in a commercial setting.
Strong understanding of financial processes: GL, AP, AR, close.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable system designs.
Experience in a growth environment and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key engineer for the Workday Financials deployment including configuration, testing, documentation, and ongoing enhancements in areas such as Fin Accounting and P2P.
Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into practical system designs, process improvements, and supportable solutions.
Configure and maintain Finance business processes, security, calculated fields, reports, dashboards, and data validations as needed.
Work with the integration and automation team to improve connectivity between Workday and other internal/external applications for operations and analytics.
Help establish strong operational discipline through clear documentation, ticket handling, sprint participation, and delivery tracking.
