Formación

  • Completed apprenticeship in technical education required.

Job title: Team lead, Controls Technician

We are working with the leading global provider of highly automated, intralogistics solutions for warehousing, production, and order fulfilment. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Team Lead Controls Technician with a strong background in automation and control systems to support the commissioning of materials handling and logistics systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure thorough preparation of all relevant commissioning materials including tools, documents, specification sheets, software, functional specifications, and required services.
Conduct high-level MFS (Material Flow System) interface tests to ensure proper integration and functionality.




Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
Identify errors and areas for improvement—both internal and from third parties—and contribute to continuous improvement processes (CIP).
Follow and enforce general and operator-specific safety procedures. Conduct initial and follow-up safety assessments at construction sites. Provide occupational health and safety instructions to internal staff, monitor compliance, and document all safety-related activities.

Qualifications

Technical education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field (minimum: completed apprenticeship with additional qualifications).
Hands-on experience in PLC programming using SIEMENS S7 TIA Portal , ideally with FUP and SCL.
Proficiency in handling various bus systems : Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, CAN, and ASi.
Practical knowledge of variable-speed drives,



including both three-phase asynchronous and servo drives with frequency converters.
Prior experience in commissioning on construction sites, ideally within the materials handling or logistics sectors.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Valid Driving License (Class B).
