Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain is seeking a Windows Server Specialist to join the Infrastructure Hosting Server OS team. You will work on Windows and Linux RedHat operating systems, supporting the full lifecycle of Windows server solutions for application colleagues in an international environment.

The role involves monitoring supplier performance, defining standards, and assisting customers with integration during design and rollout phases. A security clearance may be required.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Windows server system engineer or similar role.
• Windows OS, WSUS / MECM, KMS, Active Directory, VMware
• Basic Networking - LAN / WAN, TCP/IP
• Virtualisation and clustering
• Scripting: Powershell, Ansible (desirable)
• Automation: System Center, Ansible (desirable / opportunity to learn)

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the performance of our externalized run supplier, in conjunction with contract management (SLAs follow-up, invoices control, security patching level, problem management, ...)
• Identify and lead the implementation of corrective actions in case of a supplier performance gap
• Support the definition of our Windows server standards and technical designs to meet our customer needs while targeting his highest possible value for money
• Implement in the Spanish environment the latest Windows standards and designs defined at our team level
• Support our customers in the integration of our Windows solution during their application design and roll-out phase
