You will design secure systems, perform risk assessments, and guard space assets from blueprint to active defense, acting as a security partner to engineering teams.

The role emphasizes defining hardening guidelines, securing networks, and proactive vulnerability management within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience end-to-end in cyber security from architecture to defense.
• Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint protection.
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into practical hardening guidelines.
• Broad IT knowledge to develop security architectures and identify weaknesses.
• CISSP or similar certification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of conducting audits is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure systems and perform compliance checks and risk assessments for space assets.
• Strengthen security by defining standards and hardening guidelines.
• Consult with internal customers to support mission-critical projects, including Mars-related initiatives.
• Defend operations by managing security technologies (e.g., EDR) and driving vulnerability management.
• Lead security request management and ensure network security through access control.
