Nordex Group in Spain seeks a senior engineer to design wind turbine towers and foundations, performing steel and concrete structure analysis and contributing to product certification. You will collaborate with certification bodies, suppliers and international teams to create robust solutions and certify calculations.

Role involves driving modularization and industrialization of designs, supporting design software, and leading root-cause analysis to strengthen the company’s IP portfolio.

Formación

• Engineering degree in civil/structural/mechanical/industrial fields or equivalent.
• Experience with linear/non-linear analysis and programming (C++, Python).
• Fluency in English; minimum 3 years in a similar position.

Responsabilidades

• Develop wind turbine towers and foundations, performing design and structural analysis of steel and concrete structures.
• Collaborate with experts, certification bodies and suppliers to develop robust engineering solutions and prepare certifiable calculation reports.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing and assembly of concrete and hybrid towers.
• Drive product modularization, customization and industrialization of developed solutions.
• Lead root cause analysis and contribute to patent generation to strengthen IP portfolio.
