Nordex SE in Madrid is seeking a Structural Engineer to act as a technical reference for assessing and solving structural challenges across our wind turbine fleet.

You will verify concrete and steel structures, collaborate with experts and suppliers, design tubular and hybrid towers, and deliver thorough calculations and reports. The role requires a Master’s in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and fluency in English; travel is occasional.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with IEC 61400-6, Eurocodes, Model Codes, DIBt guidelines.
• Experience with finite element analysis (Ansys, Abaqus).
• Understanding of bolted flange connections, pretensioning, and fatigue analysis.
• Advanced programming skills; Python is a strong asset.
• Strong communication and multicultural teamwork.
• Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish a plus.
• At least 5 years in similar engineering roles.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural verifications for concrete and steel tower structures.
• Collaborate with internal/external experts and suppliers as technical partner.
• Design and evaluate new tubular steel, concrete and hybrid towers and anchor cages.
• Prepare high-quality technical documents, reports, calculations.
• Lead root cause analyses for field issues and implement on site.
• Support efforts to reduce cost of energy and increase tower development productivity.
• Focus on lessons learned and standardization.
