gevernova is seeking an Lead Installation Engineer in Barcelona to drive installation tooling development from concept to field validation. You will lead cross-functional teams, define requirements, engage suppliers, and ensure safe, ergonomic, and efficient installation processes for onshore wind turbines.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience, CAD/FEA familiarity, and travel up to 15% globally. You will train regional teams and support on-site validations across projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience applying technical knowledge in real-world environments.
• Mechanical domain expertise: lifting/rigging or hydraulics/gearing.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 15%.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with CAD and Finite Element Analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Manage tooling development projects from concept through industrialization.
• Lead a cross-functional team to define requirements and specifications for tooling and processes.
• Engage with suppliers to finalize design and manufacture.
• Create concepts that optimize end-user experience.
• Apply systems thinking to plan operations and safety for installations.
• Conduct design reviews and FMEAs to ensure safety standards.
• Create design packages for regional and Global Tech Operations teams.
• Support on-site validations and train installation leaders and technicians.
