GE Vernova in Spain seeks a Lead Installation Engineer to drive the technical development of installation tooling and processes for onshore wind turbines, from concept through on-site validation. The role leads a cross-functional team, defines requirements and specifications, and coordinates with suppliers to deliver safe, ergonomic tools.

You will ensure tool handoff to regional teams and support field validations, training, and efficient installations across sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of combined engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience applying technical knowledge in practical environments.
• Familiarity with CAD and Finite Element Analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Manage tooling development projects through the NPI process from concept through industrialization by executing design, prototyping, development, validation, and final documentation of Installation tooling, processes.
• Lead a cross-functional core team to define requirements, develop concepts, and create technical specifications to guide the mechanical design of tooling and processes.
• Engage with and manage suppliers to finalize design and manufacture the proposed technology.
• Create design packages and hand off to regional installation and Global Tech Operations teams to enable self-proficiency with the new tools and methods.
• Support on-site validations for each project and assist training of installation leaders and technicians.
