GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a Lead Installation Engineer to drive tooling development for wind turbine installations, from problem framing and concept creation to on-site validation and handoff to regional teams.

You will lead cross‑functional efforts, define technical requirements, assess safety and ergonomics, engage suppliers, and ensure robust documentation and training for field personnel worldwide.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of combined engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience applying technical knowledge in real-world settings.
• Mechanical domain expertise such as lifting, rigging, hydraulics or gearing (preferred).
• Willingness to travel globally up to 15%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead tooling development projects from concept through industrialization via design, prototyping and validation.
• Define requirements, develop concepts and create specs for mechanical tooling.
• Coordinate with suppliers to finalize design and manufacturing of tooling.
• Support on-site validations and train installation leaders and technicians.
