Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service activities to ensure reliability across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvement. Travel up to 20% and rotating weekday shifts with occasional on-call support are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and alarms remotely from the ROC.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex problems with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Support process improvement and operational optimization.
• Assist with grid outage support when required.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
