Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and guide commissioning and service activities from a remote hub while coordinating with site teams and engineering experts.

You bring a degree in engineering, wind turbine or electromechanical experience, proficiency with SCADA, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on wind turbine/ electromechanical systems experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
