Your Tasks

1. Design of new network infrastructures in an open-source environment, mainly based on virtualized environments.
2. Development, planning, and improvement of OT security processes and vulnerability management in wind farms.
3. Planning the implementation of network concepts and network zones.
4. Hardening of software and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
5. Participation in projects and 3rd level support, especially for large and complex wind farms around the world up to 1.21 GW.
6. Support in global software deployment and build automation using Azure DevOps.
7. Coordination with 1st and 2nd level support.
8. Troubleshooting for the responsible applications.
9. Creation and update of the related software documentation for the 1st and 2nd level support.
10. Close cooperation with various departments in an international environment.

Your Profile

1. A degree in computer science, communications engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification with significant hands-on experience in network engineering.
2. Deep understanding of operating systems such as Linux and Windows, as well as Java.
3. Experience with PowerShell and databases.
4. Analytical thinking and logical understanding of complex issues and system architectures.
5. Sound knowledge of firewalls, routers, and protocols.
6. Knowledge of security protocols and devices such as stateful firewalls, IPS, VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS, and L2 security.
7. Very good written and spoken English; skills in Spanish and German are a plus.
8. Organized, eager to learn new technologies, proactive, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and intercultural competence.
9. Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
10. Availability to travel.
