Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a WEDA Team Leader at our Zaragoza site. The role combines leadership of an engineering team with responsibility for product care, improvement, and cost optimization within the WEDA Pumps portfolio.

The position reports to the R&D Pumps Manager and requires a strong background in mechanical design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement, along with excellent communication in English and a track record of cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, product care, or engineering design.
• Experience with hydraulic products, pumps, or fluid handling systems.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

• Previous experience leading engineering teams and managing technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Zaragoza, PowerTec Innovation Center in Zaragoza, Spain.
