About the speakers :
Mr. Helvey , a self-proclaimed global citizen, has over twenty years of experience in protocol, having held positions from entry-level to leadership across multiple countries, engaging with officials up to head of state levels from over 100 nations. He has a strong business background through various university degrees and focused studies in protocol, project management, continuous improvement, and innovation. His company, Global Center for Protocol Development , reflects his and his co-founder's extensive experience, adopting an innovative approach to developing professionals into high-performing leaders based on diverse qualities.
Ms. Navarro is a native of Cádiz, Spain, with over 20 years of international experience in protocol and international relations, primarily with the U.S. Government. She has taught protocol courses at a prestigious business school in Madrid, served on an NGO’s Board of Directors in Africa, translated psychology textbooks, and is nearing certification as a Gestalt therapist. She holds a bachelor's degree in translation and interpretation, and master's degrees in protocol & international relations, communication & political marketing, and conflict resolution. She is a graduate of Yale University’s Women’s Leadership Program and is Co-Founder and Director of Communication and Public Relations at BE Spain Savvy.
Educational Webinars
Webinars are a key part of PDI-POA’s mission to educate protocol professionals. They feature presentations by leading experts, with attendee interaction via chat and Q&A functions on the Zoom platform, as audio and video are disabled during the session.
Webinars are free for PDI-POA members. Non-members can attend for $50. All sessions are recorded and available to members in the Video Library. Non-members can access the recordings for 30 days via a password-protected link shared after the webinar.
