Job summary

AECOM in Madrid is seeking a skilled Water Infrastructure PM/DM to lead the design team within a dynamic consultancy environment. The role requires extensive experience in hydropower, pumped storage, dams or major conveyance systems, coordinating across civil, structures and geotech disciplines.

You will manage complex design processes, ensure high-quality outputs, and engage with multiple stakeholders to deliver on major water infrastructure programmes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in civil, structural or related discipline.
• +10 years of PM experience on complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience in leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across offices.
• Familiarity with BIM/CDE workflows and design coordination.
• PMP certification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead project and design leadership for civil infrastructure from planning to closure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, structures, geotech, hydraulics and underground works.
• Ensure design quality, schedule and cost targets are met.
• Maintain regular status reporting and risk management across stakeholders.
• Oversee QA/QC and compliance with client specifications.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to align on scope and deliverables.
