Overview

This role requires extensive business travel within Europe (both EU and UK), up to 40% of the time, and a valid driver's license for cars, as well as the ability to rent cars in Europe (paid for by Amazon).

Key responsibilities

• Support the Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) manager in analyzing metrics from reports and dedicated resolution plans
• Facilitate and drive the resolution of (mainly) Outbound configuration / set-up issues and process questions
• Support the external provider on a project basis for a specific process to improve, a tool to introduce, or a best practice to share
• Perform in-depth analyses or ad hoc data extracts for recurring issues requiring detailed analysis
• Ensure compliance of operational processes with the external provider through metric tracking, on-site audits, and requests for corrective/preventive actions
• Communicate new or modified processes to the external provider, provide training and troubleshooting assistance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of the outsourced warehouses team (e.g., documenting processes, improving internal tools)
• Use benchmarking standards and continuously train to develop subject matter expertise
• Act as the main Amazon process expert on site during the launch of new 3PL sites
• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications

Qualifications

Travel and site requirements

Extensive business travel within Europe (EU and UK) up to 40% of the time. A valid driver’s license for cars and the ability to rent cars in Europe (expenses paid by Amazon).
