To ensure the stability and efficiency of DT-Techniks cloud infrastructure (BM4X), we are seeking qualified personnel. They will be responsible for 2nd-level incident and problem management, working closely with our internal first-line on-site support DT-ISP / FOPS and the developers of network automation. Our goal is to enhance service quality and strengthen the innovation of our cloud services.

Activity description and concrete tasks:

  • Acceptance Tests and support for field operations, including start-up installation of Cisco and Juniper switches and routers.
  • 2nd-Level Incident Management: handle and resolve incidents escalated from first-line support, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Problem Management: identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions, collaborating with automation developers to enhance automation processes.
  • Interface Collaboration: work closely with first-line support DT-ISP FOPS (e.g., for initial operation or RMA processes) and automation developers to ensure smooth operation and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

Tools & Platforms:

  • Mainly working on network components connected via Jumpserver.
  • Additional tools include Jira, Wiki, CASM (Ticketing Tool).

Skill requirements:

Mandatory technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, especially Juniper (JunOS, JunOS Evo) and Cisco (NXOS, IOS XR, IOS XE).
  • Proficiency in network skills such as IPv6 configuration, troubleshooting, eVPN, VXLAN, BGP, and OSPF.

Analytical skills:

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop effective solutions.
  • Troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.

Collaboration and communication:

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including first-line support and developers.
  • Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Adaptability and learning:

  • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Optional skills / Agile skillset:

  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to contribute effectively in Agile teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Tools:

  • Experience with Zabbix and Netscout is advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
