Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Partnerships to lead and expand our network of strategic alliances. This executive volunteer will play a key role in identifying, securing, and nurturing both profitable partnerships (sponsorships, co-branded initiatives, in-kind contributions) and collaborative relationships with corporates, institutions, and aligned organizations.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about gender equality, business development, and ecosystem collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with PWN's mission, vision, and funding needs.
- Identify potential sponsors and partners (corporates, SMEs, public institutions, NGOs, universities, foundations, startups) that align with our values and community.
- Develop a profitable partnership model with tiered sponsorship packages, value propositions, and ROI metrics.
- Establish corporate alliances that support our programs (events, mentorship, upskilling) through funding, visibility, or resources.
- Coordinate joint initiatives such as Diversity & Inclusion workshops, thought leadership sessions, or co-hosted events.
- Act as the liaison with corporate HR, CSR, and DEI leaders to co-create shared-value collaborations.
Relationship Management
- Nurture long-term relationships with existing partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication, reporting, and partner satisfaction through ongoing engagement.
- Leverage the wider PWN Global network to unlock international partnership opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a small team of volunteers focused on partnership execution and partner care.
- Report regularly to the Executive Board on KPIs, pipeline, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the VP of Events, VP of Marketing, and VP of Membership to ensure synergy across all activities.
Requirements
- Experience in partnership development, sponsorship sales, or corporate relations, ideally within a nonprofit, business association, or consulting environment.
- Strong network in Barcelona's corporate ecosystem is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, action-oriented approach.
- Passion for gender equality, leadership, and professional development.
- Fluent in English / Spanish and / or Catalan is a plus.
