Description

You’ll own the editorial content and production strategy for DAZN's basketball vertical, The Home of Basketball, across our app, B2B platform, channels, and FAST channels globally. This pivotal leadership role has high visibility and a direct impact on engagement KPIs throughout the customer journey.

Your responsibilities include leading and executing DAZN Basketball's content strategy, defining digital growth strategies within editorial content and engagement, overseeing creative design for our website and app, managing social media content, media partnerships, communications, live and non-live game content, and programming.

You will ensure strategic alignment across departments, including DTC and marketing, for go-to-market strategies, business analytics, trading, performance, organic media, and paid media execution.

This senior leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the content and production landscape, especially within sports and entertainment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives.

As our new VP Content, you’ll have the opportunity to :

  • Drive strategic content growth across DAZN’s linear, FAST, and OTT platforms
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team in editorial and content engagement
  • Coordinate core departments & regions to create a unified brand voice and experience at the HOB
  • Translate data into action — using insights to shape editorial strategy and platform merchandising
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for audience engagement across channels
  • Collaborate with global & regional stakeholders to align engagement strategies with DAZN’s overall business goals
  • Ensure cross-platform storytelling by working with content production teams to tailor output for each platform

You'll have :

  • Proven leadership experience managing content strategy for OTT platforms, linear broadcast, or digital media
  • A sharp editorial mindset with deep knowledge of football and multisport culture
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance editorial and business objectives
  • Fluency in Spanish (if based in Spain) and English
  • Extensive experience working with BI tools like Tableau or Looker
  • The ability to inspire teams across locations and lead with clarity, empathy, and purpose
  • A strategic mindset capable of confidently presenting data-backed decisions at the executive level
