83zero are partnered with a global consultancy who are looking for a VWmare Consultant to support their end client located in central Madrid. This will be a (Autonomo) contract position.

Project Overview :

We are seeking an experienced VMware professional to support a critical infrastructure migration project. The scope involves migrating the current server cluster to vSphere 8 using vSAN and replacing the existing network-based storage solution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze the current infrastructure and gather preliminary technical information
• Plan and execute the migration of Microsoft / Linux server systems from stand-alone and / or virtualized environments to a new VMware-based infrastructure
• Install, implement, and configure the new environment using vSphere 8 and vSAN
• Conduct acceptance testing and ensure successful deployment
• Collaborate closely with on-site teams throughout all project phases

Mandatory Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure consolidation and migration projects
• Proven expertise in Microsoft and Linux server environments
• VMware Certified Specialist – vSAN 2024 (5V0-22.23 certification)
