Formación

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably in-house legal counsel.
• Experience in Legal Fintech and Data Protection is valued.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Job Description

Purpose:

This role, with an important Fintech component, is a key part of the Legal team, managing and advising on risk and legal liability for the group as a Travel Tech Company, supporting our growth plans. Expected responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Fintech/Insurtech Team with the setup and implementation of initiatives according to the roadmap, ensuring strategic project development.
• Advising on day-to-day business decisions, reviewing contracts from a commercial and regulatory perspective, and providing preventive legal counsel.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1. Legal support: Advising the Fintech/Insurtech Team on risks from new initiatives, monitoring regulations, and assessing impact on HBX activities.
2. Contract review: Providing legal review and guidance on contracts, focusing on regulatory requirements.
3. Cross-functional coordination: Collaborating with Tax, Compliance, HR, IT Security, and others to ensure aligned advice.
4. Process improvement: Reshaping workflows to adapt to the fast-paced environment, creating guidelines and scalable processes.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably in-house legal counsel in a multinational or Fintech law firm.
• Law degree from a reputable institution; specialization in Fintech Law is desirable.
• Experience in Legal Fintech and Data Protection is valued.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
