Job Overview

Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH provides Germany's technical infrastructure for fixed and mobile networks. Approximately 19,000 employees are responsible for planning, design, and operations of technical facilities and systems.

Tribe Voice & Messaging designs, develops, and operates all voice and messaging platforms within DT Technik's fixed and mobile networks. We provide state-of-the-art services to our customers.

Your Role

As Cloud Infrastructure Advisor, you will be part of Squad Advisor & Capacity, driving onboarding, rollout, and migration of key voice and messaging applications onto a unified internal Telekom Kubernetes cloud. You will guide different application teams and be responsible for internal team applications and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and best practices for onboarding, rollout, and migration phases.
• Coach and advise cloud projects concerning operation enabling activities.
• Inspect, analyze, and implement improvements continuously.
• Perform error analysis and troubleshooting sessions, performance analysis, and optimization measures.
• Prepare and administer project repositories and applications within K8S clusters.
• Support projects to reach final acceptance milestones.
• Check operational readiness with cloud project leads.
• Check mindset and operational tasks with focus on quality.
• Firedrill with technical teams.

You must have :

• Solid knowledge and experience in LINUX and networking.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud native applications and container platforms, Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience in developing and documenting complex technical concepts / specifications.
• A willingness to dive into new technical concepts and share knowledge with the team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to design and articulate technical and process concepts clearly.
• Ability to steer projects from a technical point of view.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during transitions.
• Ability to manage incidents, changes, and problem resolution.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• English level C1 expected; German level B1 considered an advantage.

Proficient in working in geographically distributed teams using online tooling such as JIRA, Confluence Wiki, Sharepoint, Teams, and alike.
