Job summary

T-Systems Iberia is seeking a senior virtualization architect in Spain to design and implement enterprise virtualization solutions with a focus on automation and IaC. You will lead architecture decisions, define standards, and guide migrations in multi-cloud and software-defined environments.

We value certifications (VMware, Red Hat OpenShift, Nutanix) and experience with vSphere, VCF, and CI/CD workflows. Fluency in Spanish and English is required; global collaboration awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise virtualization with design and automation experience.
• Design target architectures and reference blueprints.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle with IaC and pipelines.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of alternative virtualization platforms (KVM, OpenShift Virtualization, Nutanix AHV).
• Define standards and technical documentation for operations teams.
• Act as the technical reference in projects, migrations and architecture decisions.
• Automation/IaC: Ansible, Terraform, Python or PowerCLI + Git.
• Architecture-level knowledge of VMware vSphere and software-defined environments (vSAN, NSX).
• Experience with at least one alternative hypervisor (KVM, OpenShift Virtualization, Nutanix AHV).
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), CI/CD, observability, ITIL 4.
• VMware, Red Hat (OpenShift) or Nutanix certifications.
• FinOps / cost optimization knowledge.
• Spanish and English (professional level).
