Job summary

T-Systems Iberia is seeking a curious DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure for a global Deutsche Telekom digitalization effort. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders worldwide to modernize automation across a business-critical work order platform.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of modern IT stacks, CI/CD and cloud-native infra.
• Solid software engineering background with Python/Java or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on involvement in software projects using modern frameworks.
• Experience operating apps and infra in cloud/Kubernetes.
• Strong automation mindset and goal to reduce manual effort.
• Intercultural competence and collaboration across global teams.
• Proficient English (B2+).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.

Your first assignment will be to modernize and extend the automation landscape of a business-critical work order platform used throughout Deutsche Telekom's international operations. You will design,buildandoperateCI/CD pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure and automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve delivery speed.With the remaining part of your capacity, you will take ownership of the operation,reliabilityand continuous improvement of the platformonall environments.

The generalresponsibilities of this positionare:

• Designing, extending, andoperatingthe infrastructure/services across projects in close collaboration with other units
• Supportingcomplex projects during the development, the quality assurance during development, as well as during the planning and execution of product releases
• Automating& owningthecross projectinfrastructure and tool suite for integration and delivery
• Partneringwith software engineers and business teams to accelerate delivery.
• Improvingdeployment reliability,observabilityand operational excellence
• Preparing concepts to further automate defined complex services, processes, and/or operating models
• Carrying out performance analyses and tunings
• Conducting and supportingteam members from fault analysis through to fault clearance(incident and problem management)
• Drivingcontinuous improvement in security,performanceand operational efficiency
• Leadingcomplex CI/CDinitiatives

Must-have

• University degree preferably in computer sciencesor related fieldorseveral years of experience insoftware development.
• Excellent knowledgeinmodernIT stacks(test automation frameworks,CI/CD, cloud native,on and off premisesinfrastructureetc.).
• Solid software engineering background with practical programming experience in Python,Javaor similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proventrack recordofhands-oninvolvement insoftware development projectsinvolving modern frameworks and higher programming languages.
• Experience operating applications and infrastructure in cloud and/or Kubernetes environments.
• Strong automation mindset and a passion for reducing manual effort.
• Interculturalcompetence.
• Working proficientEnglish(at leastB2level).
• Practical experience with Jira,Confluenceand Microsoft 365.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in telecommunications,networkingor service provisioning.
• Knowledge of TM Forum standards and processes.
• Experience with Camunda-based workflow solutions.
• German language skills.
