Job Description :

A position for a Geospatial finance and project analyst is now open at Airbus Geotech.

About Airbus in Barcelona

The position is based at Airbus Barcelona facilities, located downtown. The team collaborates closely with Airbus departments in France and Germany, focusing on creating innovative Geospatial features in line with market needs.

Airbus GeoTech, located in Barcelona, is a subsidiary specializing in Space Digital and Geospatial solutions, serving over 200 international customers. The team is dynamic, often traveling internationally, and is involved in transforming satellite and drone imagery and related applications.

Your role

You will work within a small, passionate team to assess and improve finance & accounting procedures, define KPIs, support project management, and assist in bid and procurement strategies. Your role involves autonomy, collaboration, and innovation, requiring excellent communication skills in English and potentially other languages.

Required know-how for the position

• Degree in finance or business
• Minimum 1 year experience in small/medium companies
• Knowledge of image processing and Earth Observation is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
• Ability to handle unexpected situations, be rigorous, analytical, and a team player
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments, proactive, flexible, with international exposure
• Emotional intelligence and openness to diversity
• Willingness to travel
