Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker’s in-house agency The Shop is seeking a creative Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging social-first content. You’ll manage a structured media library and oversee post-production workflows, collaborating with filmmakers to meet platform-specific requirements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in film, media, post-production, or related field.
At least 5 years of professional Video Editor experience in brand, agency, production, or media environment.
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Experience editing social-first, branded, digital content across multiple formats and platforms.

Responsibilities

Edit social-first, branded, and campaign video content using footage provided by internal teams.
Create compelling visual stories using archive footage, owned content, and brand assets.
Organise, catalog, and maintain a structured media library for raw footage, selects, exports, and metadata.
Log footage accurately and maintain documentation for projects, file locations, usage notes, and metadata.
Manage post-production workflows, including ingest, project organization, version control, and archiving.
