Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, The Shop’s Video Editor position, is a remote opportunity in Spain. You will edit social-first, branded content, transform raw footage into engaging stories, and manage organized media assets for quick access.

You’ll work with Social Media Filmmakers and internal teams to ensure content aligns with brand standards across platforms and formats, while maintaining efficient post-production workflows in a fast-paced creative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in film, media, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Video Editor in brand/agency/media environments.
• Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software and formats.

Responsibilities

• Edit social-first, branded, and campaign video content using provided footage.
• Create compelling stories from archive footage and owned media assets.
• Organise, catalog, and maintain a structured media library.
• Log footage with documentation for projects, locations, and metadata.
• Manage post-production workflows, ingest, organization, version control, and archiving.
• Collaborate with filmmakers and creative teams on goals and formats.
• Ensure edits align with brand standards and platform requirements.
• Select music, pacing, graphics, and treatments to boost engagement.
• Prepare content in multiple formats and aspect ratios for digital/social media.
• Maintain high quality across edits, exports, and documentation.
