Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker’s in-house agency, The Shop, is seeking a Video Editor. You will edit social-first, branded video content, craft compelling stories from footage and archives, and maintain a high-quality media library.

Collaboration with filmmakers and creative teams is essential to meet project goals across platforms. The role requires 5+ years in video editing within brand/agency settings, and proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in film, media production, post-production, or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional Video Editor experience in brand/agency/media environments.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Resolve) and strong storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit social-first, branded, and campaign video content using internal assets.
• Create compelling stories from archive footage and owned media assets.
• Organise and maintain a structured media library with metadata and logs.
• Manage post-production workflows including ingest, project organization, and archiving.
• Collaborate with filmmakers and creative teams to meet project goals and platform requirements.
• Ensure edits align with brand standards, tone, and platform best practices.
