Formación

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with deep technical knowledge of SCF and Receivables Finance products.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance products and inventory financing is a plus.

At ING we are looking for a Vicepresident - Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant Iberia

Your role and work environment :

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic VP-Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant Iberia (Working Capital Solutions) to join our Transaction Services (TS) team within Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal .

The team collaborates with large corporates to offer TS solutions for the bank, including Working Capital Solutions (WCS), Trade Financial Services (TFS), and Payments and Cash Management (PCM).

Your key responsibilities :

As a Transaction Services Sales Trade Consultant Iberia, you will be responsible for growing the Daily Banking business and increasing profitability through the origination of new TS mandates within the Wholesale Banking (WB) client portfolio in Spain and Portugal.

The TS Sales Consultant sells the full suite of TS Trade solutions across the network (both WCS and TFS), with a focus on Working Capital Solutions products such as Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance (SCF).

Key responsibilities and activities :

Origination and Business Development :

  • Generate new TS share of wallet deals with existing and new clients, focusing on WCS products.
  • Meet challenging revenue targets and ensure client profitability within ING's risk framework.
  • Collaborate with the local head of Transaction Services to define business strategy and promote SCF and Receivables Finance solutions in Iberia.
  • Manage and advise on sizeable and complex transactions, leading the process from pre-sales to proposal.
  • Support structuring and execution of SCF and Receivables Finance mandates with colleagues from TS Advisory & Structuring teams in Amsterdam / Brussels.
  • Ensure completeness, timeliness, and accuracy in the sales process, including presentations, legal documentation, and coordination with involved departments and external parties.
  • Negotiate TS solutions and pricing agreements, balancing client expectations with ING's risk appetite.

Customer Relationship Management :

  • Enhance cross-selling of TS solutions.
  • Build trust as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Bankers, TS Sales colleagues, TS Advisory & Structuring teams, and others.
  • Monitor the existing portfolio in collaboration with risk management.
  • Operate in compliance with KYC guidelines.

Knowledge Management :

  • Contribute to the development of new solutions to enhance ING's Working Capital product catalog.
  • Attend client events to position ING's TS value proposition and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Maintain high-level knowledge of industry and TS products, especially Trade products.

What are we looking for?

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with deep technical knowledge of SCF and Receivables Finance products, including factoring, TRPPs, securitizations, sustainable SCF, and third-party platforms.
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance products (bank guarantees, LCs) and inventory financing is highly valued.
  • Ambitious, client-focused, results-oriented, adaptable, courageous in decision-making, and excellent communicator.
  • Strong organizational skills, stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, team player, ethical, and professional.
  • Willingness to learn in a dynamic, global environment with high client expectations.
