As an Account Executive for EMSE, you will join Gartner’s fastest-growing region at the forefront of Gartner’s sales function, responsible for retaining and acquiring new clients. You will own a specific territory targeting emerging tech providers.

What you’ll do :

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities with organizations new to Gartner.
  2. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  3. Retain current clients, increase their satisfaction, and grow accounts by ensuring they maximize value from Gartner services.
  4. Align with one of Gartner's markets.
  5. Collaborate with the Midsize Enterprise Sales team to develop best practices and prospecting techniques.
  6. Operate within a multicultural environment with various languages spoken.

What you’ll need :

  • At least 1 year of consultative selling experience with a successful track record.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and business insight.
  • High motivation for success and a collaborative approach.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, including new client acquisition.
  • Experience in managing, retaining, and growing a book of business.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Competitive spirit combined with collaboration.
  • Problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and feedback.
  • High self-confidence.
  • Ability to thrive in goal-oriented, competitive, and collaborative environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Location: Hybrid in Barcelona CoE (relocation available).
