Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Vendor Maintenance Specialist to ensure accurate vendor master data across enterprise financial systems. You will validate documentation, perform due diligence, and maintain auditable records while collaborating with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Treasury.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft) and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years in Vendor Maintenance, Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations, or related finance.
Shared Services or BPO experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
English skill: upper intermediate to fully bilingual required.

Responsibilities

Create, update, reactivate, and deactivate vendor records.
Review and validate vendor documentation, tax forms, and banking information.
Perform independent bank account verification and fraud prevention controls.
Maintain complete and auditable vendor records.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Monitor vendor request queues and meet established SLAs.
Support audits and provide required documentation.
Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and business stakeholders.
Identify data quality issues and recommend process improvements.
