Job Description and Position Overview

Valor School Leaders are responsible for the academics, culture, and operations of the school as a whole. This includes:

  1. Readiness to learn from and collaborate with Valor’s Superintendent and executive team
  2. Hiring, developing, and retaining outstanding faculty, staff, and school leaders
  3. Managing the school’s budget with fiscal responsibility
  4. Ensuring successful, vision-aligned implementation of Valor’s academic program
  5. Coaching teachers and school leaders to grow and excel
  6. Close work with the Valor Institute to develop and implement programs for faculty and students
  7. Oversight of teacher assignments and classroom schedules
  8. Oversight of student culture and discipline
  9. Oversight of all campus operations, including special events
  10. Reporting and compliance
  11. Achieving annual student enrollment and attendance goals
  12. Achieving annual campus fundraising goals in collaboration with the Communications & Giving Coordinator
  13. Oversight of parent relationships, parent communication, and external communication
  14. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Valor executive team
