As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the role of the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development (“APM”) is to assist with P3 bidding processes from a developer / equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across a wide geographical area.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with the overall coordination and management of P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
  • Negotiate relevant equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
  • Support the engagement of developer and lender advisors.
  • Prepare Request for Qualification (RFQ) submissions.
  • Develop and implement project-specific bid management plans.
  • Create and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate bid deliverables with project management teams across finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
  • Work with legal teams to negotiate contractual terms related to DBFM, Design-Build, and Maintenance & Renewal contracts.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to secure project financing and coordinate lender processes.
  • Develop project costing in consultation with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
  • Maintain relationships with key partners, advisors, and clients.
  • Prepare reports on bid progress, project descriptions, market assessments, etc.
  • Perform other development or technical activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Degree in civil and industrial engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in project development or finance within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Self-starter capable of working in an integrated team environment.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
