Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) invites applications for a Laboratory Technician Assistant in the Endothelial pathobiology group. This part‑time role (20 hours per week) is based at Can Ruti Biomedical Campus, near Barcelona, within a vibrant, international research environment.

You will process tissue samples, support lab techniques and contribute to genotyping efforts, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advance cancer research and endothelial biology.

Formación

• Fluency in English (considered a plus).
• Basic laboratory and tissue processing skills.
• Experience with high-throughput genotyping (preferred).
• Strong organizational and proactive attitude.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Position Overview

Laboratory Technician Assistant for the Endothelial pathobiology and microenvironment group, led by Dr. Mariona Graupera, at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) – a comprehensive cancer research center dedicated to leukaemia and hematologic malignancies.

Research Focus

To develop therapeutic strategies targeting the endothelium by exploring vessel growth and function, and by identifying pathological contexts where vasculature influences cancer, including lymphoma.
