Job summary

The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician Assistant for the Endothelial pathobiology group, led by Dr. Mariona Graupera, to contribute to cancer research projects in Barcelona.

You will support tissue processing, genotyping mice, and lab organization in a dynamic international environment. The ideal candidate holds an FP-like Technician degree, is organized, proactive, and collaborative, with willingness to learn and good interpersonal

Qualifications

• FP-like technician degree.
• Fluency in English will be considered a plus.
• Experience to genotype large number of samples.
• Willingness to learn and strong teamwork skills.
• Pro-active, responsible and well-organised.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Genotype mice
• Process tissue, including cutting and staining
• Provide support to specific lab techniques
• Isolate primary cells
• Oversee the organization of the lab
