A rapidly growing HR tech startup is seeking an experienced Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer to join their Science & AI team. This role involves designing and enhancing an AI-driven assessment system, contributing to cutting-edge initiatives, and building API web services. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in machine learning, GenAI, and strong programming skills in Python and Typescript. This position offers remote work flexibility within the EU.

Formación

• 5+ years of research or practical experience in machine or deep learning.
• 3+ years of experience in training and deploying GenAI.
• Experience in ML-ops pipeline and versioning is a plus.

Responsabilidades

The solution helps organizations identify top talent and evaluate skills, cultural alignment, and leadership potential across their workforce. In today’s dynamic labor market, where skills are a top priority for HR departments, this platform enables companies to conduct large-scale AI assessments for both external recruitment and internal development. The company recently secured €5.5 million in funding from leading VC firms and partners with major enterprises across banking, retail, and luxury sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer

to join our Science & AI team in reshaping the future of skill assessment. The ML engineer will contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives led by the company’s head of science, playing a key role in designing, fine-tuning, deploying, and enhancing an advanced GenAI-driven assessment system in an agile environment.

Experiences:

• A background in computational-enabled or data science disciplines is required.
• A background in behavioral science is considered an advantage.
• 5+ years of research or practical experience in machine or deep learning, focusing on natural language processing and large language modeling.
• 3+ years of experience in training and deploying GenAI in software systems, either on-cloud or on-premise.
• Additional experience in retrieval augmented generation (RAG) is preferred.
• Experience in designing and deploying real-time GenAI-based conversational AI agents is advantageous.
• Experience in ML-ops pipeline and versioning, from data to model deployment.
• Experience in building API web services.

Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages, including Python and Typescript.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL.
• Experience with online platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of designing chatbot-enabled web interfaces with customizable prompts, vector databases, and code agent functionality.
• Fluency in English (C1 level).
• Organized, agreeable, open-minded, and team-oriented soft skills.

Location:

Remote, based in the EU. HQ located in Milan, with flexibility to work remotely.
