A Day in the Life

Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) is where it all started at Medtronic. We design, produce, sell, and service implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders and heart failure. Our products include implantable monitors/loop recorders, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, and telecardiology equipment. Innovation is key, and our product pipeline is in continuous evolution.

CRM offers a wide product portfolio to implanter cardiologists and electrophysiologists for state-of-the-art treatment of cardiac diseases. In this exciting opportunity as a Sales Representative CRM, you will provide our customers with the latest innovations related to Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure devices. You will assist physicians with device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring procedures, as well as engage with non-clinical stakeholders in the purchase process. Additionally, you will collect market intelligence, monitor, and report on competitive activities.

This is a remote position with the territory covering Asturias. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Promoting and selling Medtronic’s products and services within the assigned area to meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Providing technical support during implant procedures in the operating room.
  3. Developing, building, and maintaining long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  4. Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize benefits.
  5. Promoting and educating about the company's products and services.
  6. Conducting market research, including competitor and customer activities.
  7. Implementing and adjusting market development strategies as needed.
  8. Communicating customer feedback on products and modifications to internal teams such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • University degree in life sciences, engineering (biomedical, electrical), or relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare/medical device industry.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, speaking, writing).
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Experience working with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians, especially in the operating room.
  • Experience in Cath lab procedures is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
