We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and analytical candidate to join us as an UX / UI Designer in Abu Dhabi. This is a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge sector as a creative design consultant in Business Intelligence Projects that range from classic BI to Big Data and Predictive Analytics.

As a UX / UI Designer, your main responsibility will be designing and optimizing dashboards and data applications, ensuring that data is presented clearly, efficiently, and aesthetically. You will collaborate closely with data analysts, developers, and business leaders to transform complex datasets into user-friendly interfaces that drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

1. Dashboard Design : Create user-centered scalable dashboard designs that provide clear, actionable insights while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
2. Data Visualisation : Translate complex datasets into easy-to-understand visualizations, including charts, graphs, and other data representations.
3. User Research & Testing : Create personas, architectures, conduct user research, usability tests, and gather feedback to ensure the best user experience for our dashboards and other data tools.
4. Collaboration : Work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and business needs. Be an active member in design workshops.
5. Prototyping & Wireframing : Build interactive wireframes and prototypes for dashboards and data tools to communicate design concepts effectively.
6. Animations : Create smooth micro-interactions animations between screens to enhance user experience.
7. UI Consistency : Responsible for creating and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency across all dashboards and data-driven interfaces.
8. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends and implement new ideas to enhance dashboard designs and improve user engagement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UX / UI design, with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces and data visualizations.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, including examples of dashboards, reports, and interactive prototypes.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, including conducting user research, creating personas, and mapping user journeys.
• Excellent communication skills in English for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting design concepts to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to iterate on designs based on user feedback.
