A digital technology firm is looking for a User Experience Expert specializing in Drupal & Angular to design and implement UX solutions. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience with HTML/CSS and a strong background in Drupal themes and Angular development. This is a fully remote position within Europe, offering a chance to work on impactful EU digital projects.

User Experience Expert (Drupal & Angular)

Location : 100% Remote within Europe

Expected Start Date : 22 / 07 / 2025

Project Duration : 1000 days

Organisation : European Commission

Your Mission

As a User Experience Expert , you will :

Analyse business needs and design UX solutions for online content.

Prepare and conduct quantitative and qualitative UX research.

Design, build, and customise Twig templates for Drupal sites.

Develop & maintain CKEditor and Angular components .

Integrate RESTful APIs for dynamic, data-driven content.

Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and maintain clear documentation.

Your Skills & Experience

Languages : English C1 / C2 (Other EU languages are a plus)

Experience :

• Min. 10 years in HTML / CSS
• Min. 5 years in Drupal themes & Twig
• Min. 4 years in Angular / Typescript

Technical Expertise :

• Proven experience with Drupal 8 / 9 / 10, theming, and internationalisation (i18n)
• Strong knowledge of Angular (latest versions)
• Solid front-end skills : HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Typescript
• Modern tooling (Webpack, npm)
• Git, GitHub / GitLab, Agile / Scrum workflows (JIRA, Confluence)
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization tools

UX / UI Focus :

• Usability & accessibility standards
• Translating wireframes into functional interfaces

Soft Skills :

• Excellent communication with technical / non-technical audiences
• Proactive, organised, and autonomous
• Analytical & problem-solving mindset
• High level of discretion & integrity (handling confidential data)
