Security Architect

Location : Remote (HQ in Andalusia, Spain)

Package : €50k + benefits

Functions and Responsibilities :

• Develop security architectural standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and review installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network devices.
• Ensure that, from a technical and design perspective, all personnel have IT access limited to their needs and roles in the organization.
• Develop project timelines for system upgrades.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.
• Collaborate on the implementation of security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; and completing documentation.
• Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Requirements :

• 3 - 5 years of experience in information security architecture and engineering.
• Knowledge of network security, network hardware configuration, network protocols, networking standards, supervision, dependability, and information security policies.
• A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
