We are seeking a skilled and user-centric UX Designer with 5-6 years of experience to join our team and work on a 100% remote project for one of our clients.

What are we looking for?

A UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications that manage connected access control systems.

You will shape a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform that enables users to monitor and control automatic doors and access points remotely, following IEC60839 and related security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research and journey mapping for access control and building security management.
• Design scalable web interfaces for various devices using responsive design principles.
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes using Figma.
• Extend existing design systems and UI libraries, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, product management, and security teams to define interfaces reflecting system health, alerts, and user control.
• Perform usability testing and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with IEC60839 standards, including logging and auditability of access events.
• Design experiences reflecting the real-time nature of IoT, handling edge cases and connection states.
• Document UX decisions and participate in agile processes.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related fields.
• Experience with physical products with GUIs in industrial settings.
• Over 5 years of experience designing web applications, preferably for B2B SaaS or IoT.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Understanding of REST APIs, event-driven UI, and real-time UX.
• Knowledge of user authentication, role-based access control, and activity auditing.
• Experience with cloud-hosted applications focusing on latency and security.
