For one of our key clients and world leaders in materials technology, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to assist our client in the realization / construction of a megaproject in Northern Spain. Once construction begins, full on-site presence will be required.

This is expected to start towards the end of this year or early next year. Initially, you will work as an independent consultant (autónomo) through CMC, with the aim of transitioning to a permanent role upon successful collaboration within or after the 2-year contract.

Role Overview

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be a key leader responsible for drawing and overseeing the electrical design and implementation within a specific area or unit. Key responsibilities include :

• Managing EPCs across all project phases, assisting them as needed, and reporting progress to the project manager.
• Designing and implementing tailored electrical systems to meet operational requirements.
• Addressing electrical issues during construction, overseeing subcontractors during startup and commissioning.
• Approving electrical designs and RFMA for subcontractors, evaluating vendors, and managing technical communications.
• Collaborating with the Maintenance department to introduce process improvements.
• Maintaining and updating drawings for seamless project handover.
• Supporting equipment upgrade projects and proposing improvements.
