About the role
The Product Manager must leverage scientific and practical NGS expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Unit. It is fundamental to collaborate with cross-functional teams to position solutions, expand the market share of our NGS solutions, shape strategy, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.
Responsibilities
Prepare the launch of new products : market research, positioning, competition, publications, and value proposition.
Maintain constant contact with represented companies, communicating forecasts, technical issues, incidents, and product information. Hold regular follow-up meetings and attend Distributor’s trainings.
Stay updated on the market needs and the competitor’s analysis.
Provide the commercial network with the necessary arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers based on the value-selling method adequately.
Prepare the necessary marketing material : brochures, catalogs, and presentations.
Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory.
Prepare and participate in Workshops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions, and other events.
Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles.
Participate in the preparation of the tenders, writing the technical part in collaboration with the Sales Application Specialist and tenders department.
Keep all the data in the computer system (SAP) up to date to guarantee the reliability of the ZGP.
Qualifications
Education : A University Degree in Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology is desirable, with a focus on Molecular Biology and Genetics.
Experience : A background as a molecular biology scientist and using NGS on a recurrent basis for research projects. Having worked as a field application specialist on NGS solutions is highly valuable.
Additional Skills / Knowledge : Language : Spanish and English; Fluent Portuguese desirable. Valuable assets : Specific training in Marketing or Sales; 2-3 minimum years experience in Research / Health Care Sector / IVD Industry; Practical experience and knowledge in NGS are mandatory; Experience in transplant market would be desirable.
